On the road

Viv is driving and attempting to pass this car. Hopefully we make it.
If u don't see any more blog posts u know who to blame.

In this pic u can see mountains in the background. That's yellowstone
( we think). I always thought yellowstone wasn't mountainous. From
pictures I have seen it looked flat with lots of meadows. I guess
we'll see when we get there. I borrowed a 75-300 mm lens ( thanks
sandhya!) which should be awesome for zooming up on wild animals.

So we've driven through some pretty remote places, come across the
smallest of towns in the middle of nowhere and I am just awed by how
vast this country is. The lifestyle of the people that live here is
so different from what I've been accustomed to living in large cities.
Some areas here you'd have to plan on getting you're groceries or
supplies weeks in advance. Things aren't so instantly available.
We've had more areas of no cell phone service than service in
Montana. Yet, as viv mentioned the bigger cities are surprisingly
cosmopolitan. Its an interesting place.
