Anyway we didn't talk about the rafting trip. We didn't bring any
cameras since they would get wet, but it was a blast. We rafted on the
Snake river, on class III-IV rapids for a couple of hours yesterday.
Apparently the river is running higher than it has for years, which
made for some great rapids. Nobody fell out of the boat, though we all
did get very wet.
After that we checked out the Jackson nightlife scene- it was ok, lots
of steakhouses and cowboy bars. We ended up eating at a pretty good
Mexican restaurant which was a welcome change from the pizzas and
burgers we'd been eating since we ran out of mom's Indian food.
We're on the way to Salt Lake City now, cutting through Idaho for a
few miles.
